well whats to say about this mistake! it began with good intentions as a mash up of multiple pictures, then i got to the face. thats when i realised i cant draw faces and after a week of arsing about i came to the conclusion that it was a lost cause and put in the face o was trying to emulate and called it quits.
first image i ever drew (before the others), i like how the jeans came out but couldnt get the shading on the top to come out exactly as i wanted. it may have something to do with the fact i left transarency on and realised a bit too late, not clever!
is also the first time i had used a graphics tablet so excuse any shakey lines please!
but if u want to post about it you may, just dont start on the lack of face. or if anyone wants to try and do the face then by all means!
The proportions and figure are well done, but the head seems too small. As for the wrinkles: less is more! White is always a difficult colour to shade and highlight, but the same tricks used in Warhammer apply to pictures.

Right now, looking for work, and trying to land this job illustrating a children's book (looking positive right now). I'll come down when things are more settled. Quite lonely down here, when Stuart leaves I'll have no friends left!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
